Dr. Lee was graduated from the Friction and Wear Center of Northwest University in USA, majored in mechanical and material engineering.  Before establishing Gemini,  Dr. Lee had decades work experience in IBM, Newfox, Seagate responsible for research and development of polishing technology and engineering, currently is a retain specialist of Baotou Rare Earth Institute, a director of Friction Branch, CSME (Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineers), as well as senior member of ASME （American Society Mechanical Engineers）,  (ASME) American Society of Metal Engineers, Society of Manufacturing Engineers, was rewarded for technical invention in IBM in 1998, for technical achievement in IBM in 1999 and for technical achievement in Seagate in 2003.
